I’m a parent and summers can be rough when school is out. Child care ain’t cheap and there’s only so many times you can go to your local playground or museum.
I launched Kids.Outerthere for myself (taking V out to local hikes) and now, I’m hosting trips for you and your mini-you all summer long, pickups from Astoria included. 1 fee covers you and your kid. All hikes are apprx 1 mile.

Full Moon Vibes 🌕
We were hiking on the Appalachian Trail Boardwalk and suddenly, the sounds of frogs mating was louder than we were. We stumbled into a mating season ritual as old as time during a full moon and what already started as magical night was made nearly spiritual, like hearing wolves howl or owls hoot.
Hiking, camping and biking during full moons is just as amazing as it sounds. See what’s coming up!
